Food preparer

· Work location: 2728 Victoria Avenue, Brandon, MB R7B 0M8 · Wage: 16.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week · Nature of employment: Term or contract and Full time (Shift, Morning, Night, On call, Weekend, Overtime available) · Start date: Starts as soon as possible · Number of vacancy: 1 · Languages: English · Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate · Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years · On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. · Work setting: Restaurant Tasks · Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units; · Keep records of the quantities of food used; · Package take-out food; · Portion and wrap foods; · Prepare, heat and finish simple food items; · Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs; · Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment; · Handle and store cleaning products; · Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas; · Remove kitchen garbage and trash; · Sharpen kitchen knives; · Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
