PRAIRIE OASIS FAMILY RESTAURANT Cook Permanent, full-time opportunity in Bushell Park, Saskatchewan Employer Prairie Oasis Family Restaurant Location 1650 Lakeview Road, Bushell Park, SK S0H 0N0 Wage $17.00 per hour Hours 40 hours per week Employment Permanent, full time; on-site work only Schedule Early morning, morning, day and evening shifts Start date As soon as possible Vacancies 1 position Requirements • Language: English • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years • Work setting: Restaurant • Safe Food Handling certificate • Cuisine specialties: Canadian and international • Criminal record check Key responsibilities • Determine appropriate food portion sizes and related costs. • Plan menus and estimate the food requirements needed to prepare them. • Requisition food and kitchen supplies. • Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes and other foods. • Inspect kitchen and food-service areas to ensure proper standards are maintained. • Train staff in food preparation, cooking and safe food-handling practices. • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers. • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
