We provide freight transportation services across Canada and the United States, and currently looking for long haul truck drivers to join our team. Main Duties • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment • Perform brake adjustments • Perform emergency roadside repairs • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle • Perform preventive maintenance • Receive and relay information to central dispatch • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Basic Requirements ? Education: High school diploma ? Experience: 1 month to 7 months driving experience ? Language: English ? License: AZ Class License (commercial truck driving licence) ?
