Live-in Caregiver for Elderly Job Title: Live-in Caregiver Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Work Location: Employer's/Client's Home Workplace Information: On-site only (work must be completed at the physical location; remote work is not available) Accommodation: Room and board provided Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-in Caregiver to provide personal care and daily living assistance to elderly individual and person with disabilities in a private home setting. The successful candidate will support the client's physical well-being, personal care needs, and household activities while maintaining a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment. Responsibilities Administer bedside and personal care Administer medications as directed Assist clients with regular exercise activities, including walking Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities Prepare and serve nutritious meals Shop for food, groceries, and household supplies Launder clothing and household linens Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Provide health, fitness, and related support services Ensure client comfort, safety, and well-being Requirements Language English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Equivalent experience may be considered Experience 1 to less than 7 months of related experience Target Clientele Elderly persons Persons with disabilities Security and Safety Criminal record check required Physical Requirements Ability to handle weights between 61 and 80 kg (133–176 lbs) Personal Suitability Client-focused Dependable Flexible Good judgement Reliable Patient Honest Compensation Wage: $24.50 per hour (or as applicable) Hours: 40 hours per week Overtime: As applicable under provincial employment standards Benefits Room and board provided Supportive work environment How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your qualifications and relevant experience.
