Kitchen Helper

Wage: $16.00 hourly/30 to 40 hours per week Nature of employment: Term or contract and full time (shift, morning, night, on call, weekend) Number of vacancy: 2 Start date: As soon as possible Work location: 210 18th ST NORTH, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 6P3 Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years On site: work must be completed at the physical location Work setting: Restaurant Job duties: • Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas • Keep records of the quantities of food used • Stock refrigerators and salad bars • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment • Handle and store cleaning products • Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas • Remove kitchen garbage and trash • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses • Food Safety Certificate Work conditions and physical capabilities • Handling heavy loads • Physically demanding • Repetitive tasks • Standing for extended periods Weight handling • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability • Reliability • Team player • Ability to multitask • Dependability Support for youth group • Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth • Offers mentorship and coaching for youth • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth How to apply: please send your resume and required documents to chickenchefhiring@outlook.com.
