Responsibilities Tasks • Conduct studies to determine optimum inventory levels and utilization of machinery and resources • Design manufacturing systems to optimize the use of computer networks, robots and materials • Find ways to eliminate wastefulness in production processes • Plan plant layouts and facilities • Supervise technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff and other engineers • Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures • Design and conduct time studies and work simplification programs • Conduct studies on the reliability and performance of plant facilities • Establish programs and conduct studies to enhance industrial health and safety or to identify and correct fire and other hazards Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD Area of specialization: Ergonomic products Additional information Transportation/travel information • Willing to travel • Willing to travel internationally • Travel expenses paid by employer • Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities • Attention to detail Personal suitability • Accurate • Client focus • Efficient interpersonal skills • Excellent oral communication • Excellent written communication • Organized • Team player Benefits Health benefits • Dental plan • Health care plan • Vision care benefits Financial benefits • Life insurance Who can apply for this job?
