Home Support Worker – NOC 44101 Employer: Charanjit Singh Location: Mission, BC Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Wage: $24.50–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience Hours: 30–35 hours per week Language: English Start Date: As soon as possible We are looking for a caring and reliable Home Support Worker (NOC 44101) to provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities to a disabled family member who requires support due to medical conditions. The successful candidate will provide care in our own home and assist with personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and other daily home management activities. Main Duties • Provide care and companionship to the client during periods of incapacitation. • Assist with ambulation and mobility. • Assist with bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing. • Plan and prepare meals and special diets and assist with feeding, as required. • Assist with routine health-related duties, including assistance with medication and changing non-sterile dressings, as required. • Perform routine housekeeping duties, including laundry, washing dishes, cooking and making beds. • Assist with other daily personal-care and household activities as required. Employment Requirements • Completion of Grade 12 and at least one year of care aid/health aid related training or certification. • Minimum one year of relevant experience in home support, caregiving, personal care or a related occupation. • Ability to communicate effectively in English. Benefits and Other Terms • Twelve days of paid vacation or 4% annually, in accordance with applicable employment standards. • Medical insurance will be provided until covered by the BC’s health care plan. • Relocation expenses will be provided, if required. • Full-time, permanent employment. • Work will be performed at the client's residence in Mission, BC.
