H-Mart Victoria Inc. is looking for Butchers to work with our team. Title: Retail Butcher Opening: 3 positions (Permanent, Full-time) Salary: CAD 25.00 – CAD 27.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation, extended health and dental benefits after probation Location: #315-3147 Douglas Street, Victoria, BC V8Z 6E3 Requirements: • Completion of secondary school • 1-2 years of work experience as a butcher Main Duties: • Cut, trim, bone and prepare standard and custom cuts of meat and poultry for display at self-serve counters or to fill individual customer orders • Prepare and arrange meat products for specialty displays and outgoing deliveries • Shape, lace and tie roasts and various meat and poultry products, and wrap or package fresh, frozen or prepared items as required • Monitor inventory levels, track sales data and assess product quantity, variety and freshness in accordance with company standards and customer demand • Follow all applicable food safety protocols including HACCP guidelines, CFIA regulations and established food handling standards • Maintain proper storage conditions for all meat and perishable products • May oversee meat cutters as needed How to apply: Please send your resume to hmart.victoria@outlook.com
