Position: Child caregiver-private home Work Location: 11492 88 Ave, Delta, BC, V4C 3B9 Wage: $20.00 hourly / 35 hours per week Nature of employment: Term or contract & Full time (Early morning, Evening, Morning, On call, Day, Overtime available) Start date: As soon as possible Number of vacancy: 1 Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment: Non-smoking & Scent free Work setting: Employer's home Job Duties -Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents -Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties -Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents -Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development -Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children -Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home -Organize, activities such as games and outings for children -Prepare and serve nutritious meals -Prepare children for rest periods -Supervise and care for children -Take children to and from school and to appointments -Tend to emotional well-being of children Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses  -CPR Certificate -First Aid Certificate Security and safety -Criminal record check -Medical exam Transportation/travel information -Own vehicle -Valid driver's licence Personal suitability -Excellent oral communication -Organized -Reliability -Patience Support for Youth Applicants -On-the-job training will be provided to support youth in developing caregiving skills and workplace experience. -The employer promotes a respectful and inclusive work environment and provides awareness training to ensure a welcoming workplace for young workers.
