Cashier

Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service. Weigh and price produce, bulk foods, and other merchandise as required. Accept and process payments through cash, debit cards, credit cards, cheques, and other approved payment methods. Respond to customer inquiries and provide product, service, or venue information. Assist guests with seating arrangements and help locate assigned seats when required. Balance cash drawers, reconcile daily sales, and prepare end-of-shift reports. Verify customer identification and age when required by law for restricted products or services. Receive and manage reservations, advance bookings, and take-out orders as applicable. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional checkout area. Handle customer concerns and escalate issues appropriately to ensure customer satisfaction. Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year On site: Work must be completed at the physical location.
