Meat Department Manager

Hanahreum Mart Richmond in Richmond, BC is looking for a Meat Department Manager to work with our team. Title: Meat Department Manager Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time) Salary: CAD 45.00 – 47.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation Location: #1780- 4151 Hazelbridge Way, Richmond, BC V6X 4J7 Requirements: • Completion of secondary education is required • At least five years of experience in meat handling environment, including butchery responsibilities, are required Main Duties: • Plan, direct, and oversee the day-to-day operations of wholesale and retail sales establishments or specific departments within such organizations • Supervise staff, assign duties, and ensure efficient workflow and performance standards are maintained • Analyze market research and industry trends to assess consumer demand, forecast sales volumes, and evaluate the impact of competitors’ activities • Select and manage the range of merchandise and services offered, and establish appropriate pricing and credit policies • Identify, source, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers as required to secure merchandise for resale • Design, develop, and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies • Prepare budgets, approve expenditures, and monitor revenues to ensure financial targets and profitability are achieved • Assess, enhance, and maintain high standards of customer service, while addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints • Plan and manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, performance development, and employee retention How to apply: Please send your resume to hmart.richmond@hotmail.com
